📖 Our story

“Let your determination shine…”

SIMSPORT™ is a French company that was created with the sole aim of improving the performance of boxers and thus supporting them until success.

We know how hard it is for boxers to equip themselves properly and protect themselves against hand injuries in particular. We want more than anything to make their lives easier…

1) Optimal hand protection at the heart of the SIMSPORT project :

How to make your own boxer wraps, red boxing wraps worn

The SIMSPORT™ project was born following the observation of numerous injuries to the hands and wrists of French boxers and fighters.

➡️ More than 30% of boxers deprive themselves of their full potential over a season, due to long-term injuries but also fleeting injuries.

Indeed, in France in particular, we seriously lack know-how in terms of protection compared to our neighbours in boxing culture:

  • Glove wear should always be 16oz, helmet + shell
  • Padded bandages that protect our metacarpals during impacts
  • Gloves exclusively reserved for the punching bag in order to work on speed, and other larger ones to work on power…

We want to improve the daily lives of boxers and fighters by offering them effective and sustainable solutions.

2) Quality products and the ambition to evolve:

Because we are committed to offering our customers high quality products and the best possible experience, all our products have been tested and approved by a team of experienced boxers for a full year before being put on sale.

SIMSPORT™ is also destined to evolve and many projects are under development for professional boxing and amateur boxing in France.

We want to develop combat sports on a national and international level , and thus allow more people to discover our sports.

🙌 This is why we need your support, together we can create a better future for combat sports and their fighters.

3) The next developments of SIMSPORT™:

SIMSPORT™ wants to expand quickly and initially wants to shed light on professional and amateur boxing/MMA. Many projects are currently being developed on this point… 💻

We are committed to making France a boxing country because we are convinced that we have a large pool of talent within our country.

4) A family affair...

SIMSPORT™ is also a family affair, a brand entirely created by a family of boxers over several generations!

      • 3x Champion Gironde & Aquitaine BEA (2015, 2016, 2017)
      • BEA Inter-Regional Champion (2017)
      • New Aquitaine amateur champion (2021, 2022)
      • Winner of the international tournament " Les Ceintures" (2023)

He discovered boxing gyms at the age of 8, thanks to his father Alain, a coach in a boxing gym in the Bordeaux region. Since that day, he has not left the ring and will have his first fight at the age of 11. After around thirty fights in Educational Boxing, he moved to the Amateur ranks where he will notably win his first Nouvelle-Aquitaine championship in the Seniors, the day after his 18th birthday, as well as the prestigious Montana Belt at 19.

He is the creator and founder of SIMSPORT™.

Born in Talence, near Bordeaux, he started boxing at 17, after accompanying his brother Joseph to the gym during his childhood. Passionate about karate and close to obtaining his black belt, he was far from imagining that he would accumulate titles among professionals a few years later. He made a meteoric rise from 1983 to 1987 with a record of 25W (including 9KO) for 1D, before his first European Championship. This also allowed him to box at the same events as world boxing stars such as Julio Cesar Chavez at the Stade Louis II in Monaco in 1986.

During his 3 European Championships, he will face Gert Bo Jacobsen (43W - 5D) and Poli Diaz (44W - 3D) , two great champions of this era and idols of their country.
